Fires in the Bathroom: Chapter 5

There is a page in this chapter that states that groups thrive on diversity. I fully agree with this idea and want to encourage this with my classes.

When groups have diversity, students learn to respect other students’ opinions and views. This is a type of learning you can’t get from a text book. Diversity in groups also allow for students to feel comfortable out of the comfort zone of their close friends.
